Pattern Corrections

Each From Bolt to Beauty pattern has been professionally designed, tested, and tech-edited. Despite our best efforts, errors can happen.

To date, four issues have been identified: 

1. In the pattern supplement Five Little Ghosts and Friends (NOT Five Little Ghosts), each background requires 2 rectangles 1½" x 11" (not 11½"). A completed block will be 11" x 16½" (and 10½" x 16" in the finished quilt). This changes the finished size of the quilt to 58" x 69½".

Downloads after 9/16/2025 reflect these corrections.

2. On the label page of the digital version of Irish Twist (that is, the very last page of the pattern), Fabric D should be pink and Fabric E should be gray.

Purchases of Irish Twist made after 12/3/22 reflect this correction. 

3. The throw-size Ornament Collection project requires just 3 yards of background fabric. When cutting the 3½" strips from that background fabric, cut just 15. Four will be set aside for the top/bottom borders, and the remaining 11 should be cut into:

9 rectangles 3½" x 14"
4 rectangles 3½" x 9"
72 squares 3½" x 3½"

4. All the pieces of Love Boldly are sewn right sides together, including when sewing the bottoms of the primary and secondary hearts (pages 4 and 5 in the digital version; pages 3 and 4 in the printed version).
